The 2011 - 2012 program year will be an exciting year.

Programs will focus on ways to build your practice during uncertain economic times.  In addition to our monthly meetings, held the last week of the month, we will introduce educational webcasts including courses developed by The American College to provide knowledge without leaving your desk.

January 17, 2012 MONTHLY MEETING: 7:30 - 9:30am, King of Prussia

Featured Speaker:

Theresa Haenn, Vice President of Development, The Alzheimer's Assn.

Signs of Alzheimer’s disease or related disorder are often overlooked – sometimes for years and that can lead to devastation for a family’s finances.  As a financial advisor, how would you know which signs indicate the early stages of Alzheimer’s disease?  Why is it important to be aware of the signs and what should you do if you have concerns?  Theresa F. Haenn, MBA, CFRE will lead a discussion about the early warning signs that could indicate Alzheimer’s disease and how that is different from normal aging.  Discussion will also focus on the steps you can take as a financial professional to help your client.  You will learn about the resources that are available in the community to help your client and Theresa will provide you with information on the ways you can access information and resources about this issue to better serve your clients.  Given the number of aging baby boomers, recognizing Alzheimer’s disease is destined to be one of the hottest health-care related topics for the next few years.
